Thank You!
We'd
like to recognize some leaders and examples in the community
that have made a difference in raising Community Standards.
Thank
you to the Lighted Candle Society!
CFD
would like to publicly thank the Lighted Candle Society
for their continued support and their unparalleled
crusade to end pornography. We encourage all our members
to visit the Lighted
Candle Society website and invite them to support
their cause.
Thank you Citizens for Families!
CFD would like to publicly thank Citizens for Families for their tireless efforts in raising awareness of Child Appropriate Community Standards. Citizens for Families has been successful in implementing family friendly store policies and community resolutions around the state of Utah. Visit their website at www.strengthenthefamily.net. Keep up the great work!!
Thank
you to Associated Foods of Utah!
Thank you for discontinuing an inappropriate advertisement promoting
Western Family barbecue sauce. The ad used dialogue
containing sexual innuendos. Communities for Decency
felt that the ad was not appropriate for children. Associated
Food stores also work hard to keep covers placed on
inappropriate magazines in check out isles. Please show
your support of Associated Foods by shopping in their
family friendly stores.
Thank
you to RTM Media!
CFD has recently received a call from RTM Media Outdoor
informing us that the Alpine Plastic Surgery ("two
good reasons.") billboard is being removed. This
has been an ongoing action item for Communities for
Decency. The representative for RTM told us that their
decision was directly related to your persistent persuasion
about the offensiveness of the ad. Thank you CFD members.
We would also like to thank RTM Media for working with
us to promote family-friendly communities. We encourage
you to thank them and support this business in the future.
Thank
you to Lofgren & Associates!
CFD
would like to thank the efforts of Lofgren & Associates
for their generous gifts of time and talent. Our web
site, logo, and brochures would not be the same without
their generous artistic direction.
